English Language Learner (ELL)

Welcome to the Elma English Language Learner (ELL) information page!

ELL services in the Elma School District are designed to support the development of students’ English language skills and ensure access to grade level academic content for all students. Students who qualify for ELL services will receive language support and development until they reach a high level of English fluency in the 4 core language domains: Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing.

• Staff throughout Elma are dedicated to ensuring ELL students receive the language support and development they need to reach fluency.
• Each school has a service delivery model to ensure ELL students language needs are addressed and developed.
