Portrait of an Elma Graduate

Portrait of an Elma Graduate Community Forum

Message from Superintendent, Chris Nesmith:

I am so proud to be completing my first six months in the Elma School District.  We have an incredible team of educational leaders in the classroom and a strong administrative group leading our buildings.

These last six months we have worked together to make it over some huge obstacles.  We have brought all of our students back for in person learning and successfully kept our classroom doors open. Our staff has come together under the singular mission of educating every student, every day.

As we enter into 2022, we are moving forward on our next phase of being the best Elma School District we can be for our students.  As part of our Career and College Readiness work, next week we will be hosting community forums to define the “Portrait of an Elma Graduate.”

At these meetings we will discuss our vision for Elma graduates. With your help we will begin defining what it means to be a successful Elma graduate. For this to be most successful we need a diverse group with a variety of backgrounds and experiences to join us. Please consider attending and inviting others. Your time is a worthwhile investment in the future of our community.

The first community forum will be held at the Elma Elementary School cafeteria from 6-7:30 pm on Tuesday, January 18,

Thank you all for your support.
