Elma Elementary School's new school-based health center will provide medical, mental health, and dental services for students at Elma Elementary School. A school-based health center (SBHC) fosters learning readiness and academic achievement by ensuring that students' health needs are being met so they can focus on learning, playing, growing, and thriving.
The new school-based health center partners include local service providers: ESD 113, Summit Pacific Medical Center, and Elma Family Dental. These partners will work closely with the school nurse, school counselor, school administration, teachers, and other student support staff in the building to provide safe, appropriate, and culturally competent health care.
