Administrative Business Assistant Internship
Available for Grades:
11th—12th

Description: Office assistant, IT Academy certificate, office management are a few of the many options. Students are prepared with an after high school job skill ready for employment upon graduation. This class provides students with office management skills while assisting the every day operation of EHS. Students properly file, answer phones, take messages, create documents, make copies, and more. Students work with office personnel and teachers.
College Credit: Tech Prep College Credit available: CIS 190 1-9 credits). Credits are provided through South Puget Sound Community College with successful completion of this course to any student receiving a “B” or better.
Business Communications
Available for Grades: 11th and 12th
Graduation Requirement:

Description: Students use creativity as an element to communicate. Students are leaders towards their goals and a survivor through careful planning and strategy. The course develops and confirms their idea of success.
Business Math
Available for Grades: 11th-12th
Graduation Requirement:
Third Year Math or Occ. Ed.
Description: Business Math is designed for students who have been successful in Algebra and Geometry and now want a business application to Math. The class will use practical problems in retail math, such as inventory, depreciation and taxes will be computed.
College Credit: Tech Prep College Credit available: BA 104, (3 credits). Credits are provided through Grays Harbor College with completion a “B” or better.
Career Exploration
Available for Grades: 9th

Description: It’s time to plan for the future! Freshman research what they want to do after high school. The class is designed to get 9th graders thinking about their goals, future, and how to get there! Wow! The class will also answer that question you have been pondering—why do I need an education? The world is changing, and the students are one step closer to being ready.
Computer Applications or Business Technology 7th/8th gr.
Available for Grades: 7th-9th
Graduation Requirement: Computer App.
Description: Students are introduced and expand their computer literacy in general. Students enhance their skill in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation. Students explore and use the Internet safely. Proficiency by completing “real world” projects are utilized in all learned applications.
College Credit: Tech Prep College Credit available: CIS 102, Microsoft Application, (3 credits). Credits are provided through Grays Harbor College with completion a “B” or better.
Digital Communications
Available for Grades: 12th

Digital Communications
Description: Portfolio development is the objective of Digital Communications. Seniors plan for life beyond high school and learn valuable interview techniques. Students have a professional portfolio complete upon graduation that meets state graduation and EHS culminating project requirements.
Senior Applied Math
Available for Grades: 12th
Graduation Requirement: Math
Description: Math skills are applied in real life situations with Senior Applied Math. Students are able to complete their Math requirement for graduation and master Math skills and problem solving.
