The following guidelines approved by our school board for our students to decorate their mortarboards (graduation caps) for the graduation ceremony on June 10th.
*No feathers, lights, streamers or items hanging off the side of the cap.
*The tassel must still be moveable during the ceremony, and it may not be decorated or modified.
*Glitter is allowed, but please make sure it is glued securely onto the cap
*Topics should be school appropriate, words should be celebratory
If a cap is determined to be unacceptable, the student will not be allowed to walk in the ceremony.
Caps will be checked at 12:15 on the day of graduation.
